Who is John Williamson & how do you currently fit into the creative industries?
I’m a Birmingham based graphic designer, currently designing in-house for one of the UK’s leading construction companies. It isn’t the most exciting or creative role so I take on many freelance projects in order to get more of a creative outlet, until I can either find a more creative role or go completely freelance.
We see you work under your name, is all of your work done as a freelance designer?
I have never really advertised a design service. I have just picked up clients through recommendations but I do plan on taking that next step and building a larger client base. I like the idea of working as part of a collective. It’s something i’d love to do if the right opportunity came up with the right people. (via Interview with Graphic Designer John Williamson)
